How the U Go Girl Got Started:
U Go Girl was created in 2020 by the Black Owned Beauty Supply Association (BOBSA).
BOBSA developed the U Go Girl hair brand because Koreans dominated the distribution of braiding and bundled hair in the United States, and no Black-owned businesses had a braiding or bundled hair brand.
Chinese manufacturers in the Chinese government asked BOBSA representatives to come to China six years ago so that BOBSA and Chinese manufacturers could work together.
This year, the incredible Mr. Sam Ennon, Founder of BOBSA was nominated and selected as one of the hair industry’s Gamechanger honorees in the IBS New York Hair Show pavilion on display for his remarkable accomplishments.
